I've had a lot of big dreams

I know you could walk abroad
Just you lot never do ...

Question: I've had this song in my head all twenty-four hours. It's a classic 80s stone sound, but sort of a sad or emotional melody. All I can actually remember is the chorus starting something like "and I tin't dream of yesterday" or " from yesterday." It sort of sounds like REO Speedwagon. Whatever thought?
Respond: Taking a look at the lyrics you offer, a search reveals the following: "Easier Than This" by Ra (2008) or "I Miss Us" by Kenny Loggins (2003). I'm not certain about the REO Speedwagon audio. Loggins' vocal seems to match that a little more.
